Finley leads homestanding Auburn against Jayden Daniels and LSU.

8 p.m. on HALL Movie: Girlfriendship

Sign us up for some time at the beach! After a booking mix-up, Samara’s (Tamera Mowry-Housley) birthday getaway turns into a week-long retreat on Edisto Island in South Carolina’s Lowcountry, where she and her two best friends (Lyndie Greenwood, Krystal Joy Brown) rediscover their passions and their purpose in this 2022 romance. Brad James also stars.

8 p.m. on LIFE Movie: The Gabby Petito Story

Skyler Samuels stars as the 22-yearold travel blogger Gabby Petito who set off a nationwide search when she failed to return home following her cross country trip with fiancé Brian Laundrie (Evan Hall). As the one-year anniversary of her death approaches, this movie examines Gabby and Brian’s doomed love story, including the warning signs that her life was in danger, the ensuing search for her, the eventual discovery of her murder and ultimately, Brian’s suicide. Thora Birch directs and plays Gabby’s mom, Nichole Schmidt in this 2022 docudrama.

8 p.m. on SHOW Movie: Scream

A quarter century after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, Calif., a new killer has slipped into the Ghostface mask and starts targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past. Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) and Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) are warned about Ghostface

being back. But who is Ghostface and how many more must die? David Arquette also stars in this 2022 thriller.

8:58 p.m. on TNT Movie: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

One of the most popular and successful of all movie franchises gets a highly entertaining addition with this 2015 J.J. Abrams-directed chapter, which wisely returns to the original spirit of the series while advancing the saga. Newcomers Daisy Ridley and John Boyega are among the new rebels fighting against the sinister First Order and its formidable young villain, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver, “Girls”). Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher reprise their characters.

10 p.m. on TRAVEL

Conjuring Kesha

International pop superstar Kesha joins forces with her famous friends and paranormal experts as they travel the country to explore mysterious paranormal hotspots in an effort to prove these instances aren’t the thing of myth. In the series premiere episode “Not Today, Satan,” comedian Whitney Cummings explores the darkness of Tennessee’s haunted “Bloody Brushy,” a closed penitentiary that enacted the worst of the worst. Kesha is pushed to her limit when she makes contact with a demonic force.

11 p.m. on KVIE Austin City Limits

You’ll fall in love with this show all over again with its Season 48 premiere “Brandi Carlile,” who takes the ACL stage for the third time, bringing her nine-piece band in support of her most recent album “In These Silent Days.” You get the best seat in the house for the six-time Grammy winner performing hits such as “Right on Time” and “Broken Horses.”

NFL Football Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London is the scene today as Kirk Cousins leads the Minnesota Vikings against Jameis Winston and the New Orleans Saints. The Vikings have a new coach in former Rams offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell, hoping he can unlock big play potential in Cousins and Justin Jefferson the way he did in LA with Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp. As for the Saints, they too have a new head man on the sidelines, Dennis Allen, and a new starter under center in Winston, a year removed from a torn ACL.

11 a.m. on KCRA NASCAR Cup Series

“The Big One” will be on the minds of everyone today at Talladega Superspeedway, where NASCAR Cup drivers gear up for the YellaWood 500, the second race of the playoffs Round of 12. A field including Christopher Bell, Ross Chastain, Joey Logano and Chase Elliott will do battle on the 2.66-mile Alabama tri-oval known for the many multi-car pile-ups that have happened there over the years. Bubba Wallace won this race a year ago in a rain-shortened affair, thus making him the second African American driver to win in the Cup Series.

4 p.m. on ESPN

MLB Baseball

First place in the NL East may be on the line tonight at Truist Park, where Austin Riley and the Atlanta Braves hope the home field works to their advantage in their game against Pete Alonso and the New York Mets. Coming into this three-game series, the Amazins held a slight advantage in the season series, winning nine to the Braves’ seven.

Super Bowl LV rematch, anyone? Two teams with championship hopes come to loggerheads tonight at Raymond James Stadium, where Tom Brady will lead his homestanding Tampa Bay Buccaneers against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. The last time these teams met, of course, was in the February 2021 title game, when game MVP Brady threw for three touchdowns and the Bucs defense stymied Mahomes on their way to a 31-9
