Mother Lode musicians, artists honored at 3rd annual CAMS

Several local musicians, artists and others were recognized recently at the Calaveras Arts and Music Show, known as the CAMS.

In addition to awards, the event included a red-carpet social time and performances by several of the show’s honorees.

Those recognized at this year’s event include Dennis Sanfilippo, Don Bilotti, Tara Kayton, Chance Tillery, Erin Santoro, Kathy Mazzaferro, Linda Hein, Volcano Theatre Company, Sierra Repertory Theatre, Main Street Theatre Works, Blue Mountain Players, Chasing Anthems, Nick Tyrrel, Gary Sousa, Russ Thomas, Susan Hoffman, Rod Harris, Jana Bumgarner, Kris Osward, Debora Olguin, Eric Quinn, Greg Knoll, Keith Burrows, Kelly Flynn, Pretty Kitty, Wet

Meadow, Good Time Posse, Nicholas Lefler, Nathan Ignacio, Greg Sutton, Hired Gunn, One Leg Chuck, Clan Dyken, Blue Mountain Radio, Leilani Hollywood, Ron Enos, Clint Mcfunky, Addison Rose, Ras Beeken, Richie Barron, Ralph Longo, Plan B, Frozen Radicals, Laurie Giannini, Johnny Gunn-predators, Linda Cunningham, Abigail Castleberry.

Richie Barron and Ralph Longo each presented a guitar to Ras Beeken Dan and the Murphys School of Music during the ceremony.

The evening was capped with an all-star performance of “Peace, Love and Understanding,” during which all award recipients were invited to perform.
