Omega Nu causes will benefit from ‘Art in the Garden’

Omega Nu will hold an Art in the Garden silent auction Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Burns Cottage Garden at Columbia State Historic Park.

Artists who have donated to the fundraiser include Kathleen Imlach, Jack Cassinetto, Chuck Waldman, Mary Ann Fischer, Hope Bainbridge, Cindy Fox, Dianne Stearns, Leslie Hurst and Janice Nelson. Prints by Ann Hardy, Leslie Rolfe and Joel Barber will also be offered, along with paintings, prints, frames and photography from private collections of Omega Nu members, hand-knitted color art hats, a hand-sewn quilted bag, and a set of blue-and-white dishes.

Several businesses have also donated to the event, which will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. in the garden on Jackson Street.

Tickets cost $15 per person and include a glass of wine for those 21 and older.

Proceeds will be used for projects that benefit women and children in the community.
