Vote for Tim Robertson

To the Editor:

Tim Robertson is not a politician. However, he’s supported and endorsed by respected locally elected officials and state leaders on all sides of the political spectrum. The Modesto Bee and over 100 organizations and community leaders all agree he’ll best represent us.

Tim works here. His opponent lives in the Bay Area. Tim’s endorsements include local police, firefighters, nurses and teachers. His opponent is backed by her Bay Area friends.

Tim has widely campaigned and attended events throughout all 13 counties spanning State Senate District 4. His opponent is only focused on two. (Hint: Not Tuolumne.) Would she govern the same way?

The Modesto Bee nails it with their words, “Robertson has spent years establishing common ground and honing negotiation skills in his labor management career — skills that will come in handy as he represents the interests of people across the political spectrum.”

His priorities are our priorities: jobs, the economy, lowering wildfire insurance premiums, funding for mitigating and fighting wildfires, not sending water to Socal, common sense educational solutions: remove barriers to learning, teacher recruitment and training, a new, more equitable way to fund schools.

Sounds good, right? Please vote for Tim Robertson.
